My story

MEET PHOENIX! This handsome 7-year-old Dobie-Rottie mix needs a home! He was recently saved from a shelter, where he was a shelter favorite, and is now in a great foster home in the Los Angeles area. He weighs only 60 lbs. Phoenix is an active and spirited guy and will do best with an active person or people who can get him plenty of exercise. He has many positive traits - he is affectionate (he loves to give hugs once he knows you!), he walks well on a leash, and he is a very loyal and loving dog. He will be your best friend for life . Phoenix prefers to have his person or people around, and will howl just a little if he is lonely. But he is not a barker unless its warranted. He can be a bit protective of his people and his property, and as such, he is dog-reactive on a leash. Phoenix would thrive as an only dog, or at least as an only male dog. He would be a great companion for the right person who has experience with strong, powerful breeds and who understands the mindset and loyalty of a dog like Phoenix. Please email for an application.
