Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This dog is on Long Island. My name is Murphy. I am a 6 almost 7 year old yellow lab who was surrendered by my owner. I am currently living with lots of cats (too many cats), a big old brown dog (they say he is chocolate but doesn't smell like chocolate at all) with a foster on Long Island. My foster Mom says I am "EXTRA" - not sure what she means - could it be because I am EXTRA large at 108lbs (I was actually bigger when she got me). EXTRA because I have a big, booming personality! EXTRA because I get EXTRA excited when I see my leash and hop and bark and go a bit crazy. EXTRA because I sometimes have had enough of all those cats, especially the orange one that hisses so maybe one cat not 5, please. I am just a BIG OLE boy and I guess that's what makes me "EXTRA".
I love the little two legged folks, they call children. They say I am just a big mush! I love to be around people and keep them company! I LOVE other dogs too - and would love another to pal around with. And walks - they are the highlight of my day - I get two or three a day! And I want my new people to take me too - even if they do say I am tough on the leash.
