Hi, I’m Walter, a handsome and loyal American Bulldog. I’m 13 years old and was born on February 18, 2010. I weigh 55 lbs. and am white and brown in color. I’m looking for my forever home where I can be your faithful and loving companion.

I’m a sweet and gentle boy who loves his humans with his whole heart. I’m potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained, and I know basic training cues. I have great house manners and I’m non-destructive and quiet. I can stay loose in the house when home alone, or sleep in my crate. I will even go in the crate on my own throughout the day if you leave the door open. I love to relax on the couch with you or take a stroll through the park. I’m your guy and I want to be by your side.

I’m a special boy who needs a lower-traffic household where I can relax during my golden years. I’m good with older children (over 13 recommended), cats, and even ducks and other fowl, but I will guard my kids against people I don’t know. I am not dog-aggressive but I can become possessive in a home environment and can have behavioral issues if not managed correctly. My rescue does not recommend a home with other dogs unless the other dog in the home is balanced, the same size as me or bigger, and the human has a good amount of experience with pack dynamic and dog body language. Overall, I try to hog all the attention for myself. Therefore, I need structure and discipline so that I can follow house guidelines and not try to rule the roost myself. I hope you can understand and help me to mind my manners.

I’m a great dog with so much love to give and I deserve someone who will give me the same back in return. I’m neutered, vaccinated, and treated for heartworms, so I’m healthy and happy.
