Hi there, I'm Jace, a white and brown bulldog mix. I'm 55 pounds and as sweet as ever. I love nothing more than to snuggle up next to somebody and get belly rubs and head scratches. I'm also smart and have been working on sit, down, and leave it. I could learn more commands as I'm a motivated learner. Anything for a treat!
My favorite toys include a Kong filled with kibble or peanut butter, bones, and stuffed animals. I like to play fetch (although I don’t always want to give the ball back) and tug of war! I would do great as somebody’s best friend. I like to follow you around the house and chill with you. I’m a goober! I don’t quite understand my size and will try to sit directly in your lap just to be close.
I'm working potty and crate training but walk great on the leash. I'm not good with dogs, likely out of fear rather than true aggression. I was chained in a yard for most of my life before I was rescued. I was nothing but skin and bones from starvation which has now caused me to guard my food. I love cats except if they come around my food. One side of my face will never fill in due to what the vet thinks is an old injury, but that doesn't stop me from being a cuddly lover. I am neutered and vaccinated. I was heartworm positive, but I've completed treatment.
I'm currently in Hampton, VA but I can be transported out of state for the right home. Please note, there may be a transport fee if volunteer transport cannot be arranged. If you're looking for a loving companion, I'm here for you!
