Meet Dexter!

We’re sorry to disappoint you - this Dexter doesn’t spend his days solving crime, and his evenings committing murder. Although, he does love to be put to work learning new tricks, and we’re sure he’d be great on TV.

This dude is in his typical puppy phase! He needs mental stimulation to tire him out, and consistent leadership to learn what behaviors are appropriate and which are not. He’s got crate training down pat and is working on his house training. He’s so smart that he works on his commands every meal for his food, and LOVES these exercises! He's learned so many new things in foster care, so far he SLAYS: Down, Sit, Stay, and Wait!
Dexter is a major adventure guy, we couldn't think of a better hiking buddy.

He loves playtime, and puzzle toys - these things help tire him out, and are great rewards for a job well done!

Due to his energy and rambunctiousness, we believe he'd be best with older, dog-savvy kiddos (10+)

Dex LOVES other dogs, although he can get a little too rowdy, so a dog who can match his play is important. He's currently untested with cats.

Although we do think Mr. Dex would do best in a home with a yard, so long as the family is committed to providing Dexter with the exercise he needs, this should not be an issue.
