Rescue FAQs

Bark at the Moon Animal Rescue is a volunteer-based, non-profit, animal welfare organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of stray, neglected, and abused animals. Bark at the Moon Animal Rescue is completely funded by the support of the community through fundraising efforts and public donations. All of our pets are cared for by foster homes and receive complete medical care, which includes worming, vaccinations, and spaying/neutering prior to their adoption.

Additional adoption info

We do a very thorough screening interview, where we go through all of our policies, regulations and asking very detailed questions.
We perform a home and reference check.
Reference checks are your vet and two personal,
once all of those are completed,
we approve you.
you will out a liability waiver, and then set up a meet and greet
if the dog is the right fit, you sign the adoption agreement, pay the fee and on you go home with your new fido friend!
