My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Dash came to Castaway Critters after being found off of Fishing Creek Valley Road, with her three sisters.

Dash has progressed from hiding when in the presence of her caretakers, to running toward them, meowing and bumping heads.

Dash enjoys laser tag, toys and cuddling/playing with her siblings.  She also has an appetite at meal and snack times.

She is comfortable around other cats and small dogs.

She is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccinations.

Dash is negative for Felv and FIV.  She is 100% positive for love!

If you are interested in Dash, please submit an online application from the Castaway Critters website.

Additional adoption info

We offer an online adoption application at www.castwaycritters.org. We do check references, vet references, and housechecks. Once you are approved, you will be required to fill out an adoption agreement. Our animals have all been wormed, altered and vaccinated. Cats have been tested for FIV/FeLV. For more information, see our website at www.castawaycritters.org.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All of our animals are in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting them. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.

Please also check out our events page on our website as fosters sometimes bring their available animals out to meet people!

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit rescue group that takes in stray, abandoned, and sick animals, giving them medical and foster care until available for adoption. We offer low cost spay/neuter clinics to the public and a special program called Operation CatNIP for pet cats of low income qualified individuals and feral cats, and assist in TNR for cats.
