My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet India!  Born October 25, 2021, this tender cutie pie is on the small side for the breed.

This little pumpkin is friendly and sweet with people, but a little reserved at first.  She’ll show you her famous “sad eyes” pose to make you turn to mush.

She is playful with anything that moves!  She loves to run around outside and is very active.  She doesn’t know her own strength, so she shouldn’t be placed with babies, toddlers, or the infirm.

She also loves basking in the cool morning sun.

India needs a doggy companion in her forever home.  She prefers dogs that aren’t overzealous.  She scares easily and will run away crying if a dog jumps on her.  She is very food motivated, since she was raised with her brother; she is the more dominant of the two and would try to steal his food.

She is good with cats, too.  She does well with cats that like dogs.  We suspect that if a cat smacked her, she would run away crying.

She is housed trained, leash trained, and she rides nicely in a car.

She is very vocal and likes to bark.  Ever the endearing one, she cries when she gets scared.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
