These darling sisters were rescued from the streets of LA in 2022. Being amazing kitties, they were quickly adopted. Unfortunately, this fairytale did not last forever as intended. Due to no fault of their own, their previous guardian could no longer care for them. With heavy hearts, they bid farewell to their old life and turned to The Rescue House to help find them their true forever-and-ever home!

Edith and Sybil are like peanut butter and jelly- each unique but perfect together! Sybil adores her tunnels while Edith would much rather lie on her kitty tree. However, what they both want the most is a loving family. These bashful beauties can be quite reserved, especially in new situations. The best way to win them over is to give them room while they adjust. Of course, having tasty snacks and a cozy spot to hide in can surely help! Most importantly, they get their confidence from each other. Over time, they'll welcome you into that special circle of trust. These sweethearts will offer you their affection and will happily accept belly rubs, booty pats, and ear scratches in return!
--- Edith is a sensitive soul with a dash of sass! She'll appreciate having nooks and crannies to a retreat to in her new abode. With Sybil around, Edith will find her courage to come out and explore. Highly intelligent, Edith loves to observe and study the world around her. This independent lady prefers to keep her paws under her control and does not like being picked up. Instead, you can rub her tummy or bust out of the feather toy for a fun game. She also adores booty scritches! A bit clumsy, this silly girl sometimes bellyflops off the couch. As for her sassy side, Edith might try to steal your food. You better watch your plate with this "angel" about!
--- Sybil is the more outgoing and confident of the pair. Enthusiastic about people, she is easy to pick up and quick to purr. Crowned as "The Best Cuddler," her snuggling skills are sure to impress you! Head butts are her way of saying, "More pets please!" Routine is particularly important to her. Her high-pitched meows are friendly reminders that it is time for dinner or recess. She loves her collection of trinkets which includes feather wands and a couple of dog toys. After an afternoon of frolicking and dashing around the house, she's ready for a snooze party on top of you!
***Edith and Sybil MUST be adopted together.

While they get along with other cats, they do not readily include feline friends in their inner circle and would not be a good match for a kitty needing companions. (In addition, kittens are a hard pass for these two.) We think they would prefer a household without canines. Small children would not be a good fit for Sybil as she occasionally nips during play.

Be prepared to be swept off your feet by these beautiful darlings! Won't you invite Edith and Sybil to join your family?
