My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** Maleficent is at Cat & Craft ***

Gray/black/peach torbie, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 6/1/22, #18343

Cats: likes
Dogs: maybe small ones
Children: older kids likely best

Once upon a time, a mama cat was living on the streets and doing her best to raise FIVE kittens on her own. In good health and very friendly, sadly, we believe the kitty may have been abandoned when she became pregnant. Thankfully, she crossed paths with a kind human who decided to help the precious family. With three of their sisters settled in new homes, Maleficent and her remaining sib hitched a ride to San Diego to move into Rescue House foster care. Now that her last sis has been adopted too, Maleficent is ready to fall in love with her forever family!

Maleficent is a delightful dose of fun, fluff, and love! Peer into those bright amber eyes, and you'll fall deeply under her love spell. A great way to win Maleficent over is with tasty snacks. She is obsessed with Churu treats! This cutie patootie relishes being petted and sitting right beside you. As for being carried, she'll allow it for brief moments. Maleficent has playtime on her mind and prefers to be on her own paws so that she can readily leap into a game or go exploring. If she locks eyes with a wand toy, don't even try to hold her ... she's already gone hunting!

Our social sweetheart enjoys feline companions. A little fearful about the dogs in foster care, she might be able to adjust to a small cat-friendly canine given proper introductions. Maleficent likes to balance being active with periods of downtime. Given her lifestyle, older kids would be a better fit.

Maleficent has transformed from a delicate princess into an elegant queen, who is waiting to bestow her love on her special family. Will you be the one to give her the home and life she longs for?
