My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mango!

Age: ~2.5 years
Weight: 60 lbs of pure chonky goodness
Breed: Bully mix
Energy Level: Medium
Dog-Friendly: Yes
Cat-Friendly: Unknown
Good With People: Absolutely!

Mango is a short, squatty little Chonky Queen who packs a whole lot of joy into her perfectly plump frame. At about 2.5 years old, this girl has mastered the balance of fun-loving playtime and laid-back chill time. Her goofy, silly personality makes her a total favorite wherever she goes.

She’s fantastic with other dogs and adores meeting new people—wiggles included! While her feelings about cats are still a mystery, she’s proven to be an excellent car rider and loves any excuse for a little road trip adventure.

If you`re looking for a sweet, snuggly, medium-energy companion with maximum chonk appeal, Mango might just be your perfect match.

Come meet Mango at our shelter and fall in love with this delightful, chubby little sweetheart!

More about this rescue

Fresno Bully Rescue (FBR) is a volunteer-based, non-profit, no-kill rescue and shelter dedicated to rescuing bully breed dogs (i.e. American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, American Bull Dogs, Bull Terriers, etc.). We are here to provide a healthy and loving temporary home while we look for forever homes for our shelter dogs. We are one of the only breed-specific, no-kill rescues with an actual kennel-facility in California. We house over 45 adult dogs at our facility (with many more puppies and adults in foster homes). Our pet adoption program and support is tailored to help find you the best match for your family and start it off right! We are a 501 (c) (3) public charity and all donations are tax deductible.
