Fuzzy Wuzzy is looking for a new home! Meet the Girls. They are bonded sisters. Fuzzy Wuzzy is a beautiful black cat with shiny, long, but not too long hair. She’s really a tiny thing under her hair.
Thumbelina is a beautiful black cat with extra shiny short hair. She’s more solid than her sister. She was a tiny thing when she was a kitten which inspired her name. Now it’s her tiny feet that she poses like a ballerina. They are very friendly (often demanding of pets), but can be a little skittish. I’m sure it’s made worse by my jealous Velcro cat. They would enjoy the company of a more laid back cat. They’ve met my mom’s schnauzer and weren’t intimidated. They walk towards strangers including children, not run & hide. They’ve done their best to win my cat over with head butts, invitations to play, and napping near him. Then he’ll remember he’s a grumpy old man and will have none of it.
They love laser lights, treats, watching the birds, and most especially turning on my iRobot so they can play with its whiskers. They are chatterboxes. They have meow conversations with me, announce their presence for pets with trills, and generally make their presence known with meow & trills. They so need a place without a jealous friend. They will be so rewarding for the person who adopts them. Once they have been in their forever home for a bit, I’m sure their cat parent will be saying, “I’m sure you can’t imagine this as they are in full snuggle mode, but when I first got them they were… ”Would you please give these sweet girls a chance? Click on "available pet" and scroll down to find the adoption application. After filling out an application, e-mail it to ColumbusPetRescue@gmail.com. We will process your information and check veterinary and other references. Finally you may be scheduled for a home visit to make sure the environment is perfect for your new family member. Once you are approved, the process is simple: choose your new kitten, meet and greet him or her, and, if all goes well, you have yourself a new pet.
