This adorable, big-eared girl is Willow, a 7-month-old, 30-lb. puppy with so much love to give. We believe she is an American Staffordshire Terriier mix. She loves to cuddle in bed and run all around the fenced-in yard. Willow is deaf and is learning some basic hand signs, but she doesn’t let the lack of hearing slow her down at all. Willow is great with kids and other dogs. She does well walking on harness and leash, is house trained and crate trained, although she cries in her crate if left too long. She loves toys, especially soft plush toys. Her favorite is a squeaker plush fish toy that moves. She definitely has a prey drive and will chase cats. Willow gets a little car sick on car rides but she will hopefully grow out of that. Willow needs an active family that is home most of the time and the preference would be that they have another young, playful pup to help get her energy out. If not, then the ability to socialize with another pup or pups on a regular basis. We are also requiring her adopter to have a secure fenced-in yard for her. Adotper must be willing to learn her simple hand signs, continue to teach her, and provide opportunities to meet other dogs and people.
