Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB 12-17-2020.
Hutch is a very good boy with quite the story. After being adopted, he became well-known when he went missing for over three months before being found skinny and injured. Now safely back with us, Hutch is getting the care he needs, including surgery to repair his leg, and will be looking for a foster home during his recovery and a forever home after.
Hutch is great with kids and loves his people, but he will need a home with no cats or other dogs, as he can be particular about his canine friends. He’s also a bit of a Houdini escape artist, so a secure setup and attentive family are a must. With the right home, Hutch will be a loyal, loving companion ready to leave his wandering days behind.

More about this shelter
In 1978 a group of neighbors got together to provide foster homes and find families for the ever-increasing number of stray animals roaming the Tri-Lakes area. As the program grew, it became apparent that a shelter facility was necessary. After ten years of fund raising, the Tri-Lakes Humane Society opened in June, 1988!
We are a no-kill 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides temporary shelter for stray and abandoned animals while seeking to find them permanent homes. We receive no state or local funding and rely solely on public donations.
