Casper is an adorable, sweet, fun, happy and healthy, three-year-old, 10-pound, male, white, scruffy Shih Tzu/Westie-mix looking for a loving guardian.

Casper was relinquished by his former owner to Chicago Animal Care and Control.

He’s friendly, full of tail wags and kisses. He’s housebroken and crate-trained. He gets along with other dogs and cats, but prefers to be the one and only dog in his home.

Casper is easy to pick up and likes to snuggle. He loves his walks and enjoys sniffing everything along the way. He does guard, so he’s best with people who can manage his behavior. That means he’s best without children or grandchildren in the home.

Casper is extremely healthy, neutered, up-to-date on rabies, distemper, Bordetella, and leptospirosis vaccines, fecal and heartworm tested negative, and on monthly heartworm preventative.

His adoption fee of $400 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits Rescue.
