My story

#CutenessOverload - FCCR welcomes Duke, a 3 year old, 25 pound GORGEOUS sable cocker spaniel looking for a home where he can be the one and only pet prince (NO cats)! He is very sweet and craves attention. He attaches quickly to his person and loves affection. He can be shy and is nervous to loud noises and new surroundings so he takes time to get acquainted to change. As such we recommend no young kids. Once he does settle in, he is playful and energetic — all puppy! He walks ok on a leash. He needs an adopter who will take time to build his confidence and train him. We are looking to give this cutie pie the princely life he deserves. Is that with you? If you are interested in adopting Duke, please complete an application on our website, www.floridacockerrescue.org. Adoption fee is $350.

More about this rescue

Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue (FCCR) is a non-profit organization located in SW Florida. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing Cocker Spaniels throughout the state of Florida and neighboring states. We rely 100% on donations and volunteers to help us take care of our dogs. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines and rabies, heartworm tested, flea and heartworm treatment, and microchip. FCCR carefully screens all of our potential furever and foster homes to ensure that our pups will have safe and loving homes. Some of our dogs come from shelters and abusive situations and we want to make sure that they will only see love the rest of their lives.
