Arrival story: Gunther was surrendered to us from a family with circumstances that prevented them from giving him all the love and attention he deserves.

Approximate age / Weight: 11 months old and 43 lbs.

Personality: Gunther has a bouncy persona, literally and figuratively. He’s a total goofball just lookin’ for a good time! Plus, we dare you to look at those ears of his and not smile! He is dog social and enjoys rompin’ with his canine pals just as much as interacting with humans.

All around happy but may bark a little when he goes into his crate but eventually Gunther settles. He’s been known to hop over the back of a couch in excitement. Gunther loves balls, wading in the pool, snuggling and food, not particularly in that order. He plays hard and sleeps hard so be prepared for some canine snoring.

Gunther is good at the vet office and doesn't mind getting a vaccine. He enjoys car rides and meeting kids at the bus stop. Training should be easy as Gunther is food motivated.

Forever Home: Gunther is looking for humans who are affectionate and playful and want to live life to the fullest, adventuring and taking in all that this world has to offer.
