Meet Lola, a 14-year-young love bug! If you’re familiar with Jake’s Place then you know we love our seniors. :) This girl is thriving in her foster home and has so much life in her! She gets medication for her hyperthyroid (easy, and she’s already feeling better) — and she REALLY enjoys all of the cuddles that her foster mom is showering her with. =^..^=
Next month this lovely will have a dental cleaning and then be ready for a new forever home!! Could that home be yours?
Contact Jake’s Place if a couch potato, book buddy, and love bug is just what you need. Xo
Please reach out to Debbie at 415-548-0824 or email adoptions@jakesplacecatrescue.org.
All Jake’s Place cats that are available for adoption are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLV and are microchipped.
The Adoption Fee for Lola is $80. This Fee helps pay for Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Vaccines, FIV/Leukemia testing, as well as all other Veterinary costs. Adopters must agree to return the kitty to Jake’s Place if the adoption fails at any time. All Fees will be returned if the adoption fails within 90 days.
Jake’s Place is a 100% volunteer organization. All Fees and Donations go directly to the care of our kitties.

Lola, a Novato Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Novato, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Novato.
Rescues and shelter volunteers in Novato already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Novato breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Novato paves the way for another one to be saved.
