My story

Look at that smile! Zero was surrendered to us by his owner, as they didn’t have enough time to pay him the attention he deserved. This is always a sad situation. But their loss is ARC’s and maybe YOUR gain! This sweet giant gets along well with other dogs, children and does very well meeting new people. We’d love to find a great home for this sweet guy. Why not make an appointment to meet him today!

My ideal home:
I'm looking for an active and loving forever home!
I'm good with:
Most Other Dogs Young Children Older Children Men Women
I'm not good with:

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
