My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


Rosie is a very sweet 11(ish) year old chihuahua/pug mix weighing 11 pounds. She is an adoring, affectionate little sweetheart that wants to be an only dog. She was adopted at 1 year old from SafeHaven and lived with her adopted mommy for 9 years, 24/7. When her owner died, I adopted her 1 1/2 years ago and needed to have all her teeth pulled due to infection. She also suffered from a collapsed trachea earlier this year but has adjusted well and doing wonderfully. It's just important to keep her weight down and out of the heat for long periods of time.
I already had a pug twice her size that is a "bull in a china shop" that runs/walks right over her and they just don't care much for each other. So for Rosie's happiness, she deserves to be the center of attention and love. She has many years of love to give and I just want her to be happy. She just loves to be picked up and held close and she deserves that more than I can give her.
