Meet Stella! This big ol' softy traveled all the way from Minnesota to find the best snuggler in Seattle. She likes going on walks and riding in the car, but her favorite thing is cuddling with her people pals. She likes playing and walking with large male dogs but prefers a home without other pets where she can soak up all the attention. She loves soft beds and posing for treats but can be a bit nervous in new situations. She takes daily supplements for arthritis and anxiety, and prefers them in a little bit of cheese. If you’ve been looking for a sometimes shy sweetheart, consider adopting Stella!
Stella is current on vaccines, spayed and microchipped.

Founded by Vivian Goldbloom in 2013, Emerald City Pet Rescue exists to rescue abused, neglected, and homeless animals from high-volume shelters around the country.

We pride ourselves on providing the best medical care possible for our rescued animals and rehabilitating hard-to-adopt animals to help them increase their chances of finding loving homes.

Our screening process includes meet and greets, reference checks, and a visit to the potential owner’s home to ensure the home and family are compatible with the pet’s needs and our requirements. We do everything we can to ensure that loving homes are found for these amazing pets.

Emerald City Pet Rescue is run by dedicated staff and volunteers who give their time and resources to house, train, rehabilitate, and care for our animals. Above all else, we truly believe that Love Can Save Lives.
