My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Toni! Toni has mastered the synergy between her cuddly side and tapping into her energetic side. This spirited pup is a bundle of joy, always ready for a game of fetch or some playful romping with her friends and favorite toys. When the excitement settles, Toni enjoys nothing more than snuggling up for a cozy nap, bringing a perfect slice of relaxation to her day. With her naturally friendly demeanor, she loves every human she has ever met. While Toni has successfully interacted with dogs her size, the world of bigger dogs and cats is yet unexplored for her. With a proper introduction and some patience, Toni could likely extend her friendly and playful attitude to larger canine friends or feline companions. If you are looking for playful and affectionate companion then Toni could be your girl.

Toni is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.

More about this rescue

Founded by Vivian Goldbloom in 2013, Emerald City Pet Rescue exists to rescue abused, neglected, and homeless animals from high-volume shelters around the country.

We pride ourselves on providing the best medical care possible for our rescued animals and rehabilitating hard-to-adopt animals to help them increase their chances of finding loving homes.

Our screening process includes meet and greets, reference checks, and a visit to the potential owner’s home to ensure the home and family are compatible with the pet’s needs and our requirements. We do everything we can to ensure that loving homes are found for these amazing pets.

Emerald City Pet Rescue is run by dedicated staff and volunteers who give their time and resources to house, train, rehabilitate, and care for our animals. Above all else, we truly believe that Love Can Save Lives.
