Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MEET INDY! Indy is a 2-1/2-year-old purebred German Shepherd girl in need of a new home! She is a smart and stunning dog! Indy is a big sweetheart and loves people and thrives with attention from her humans. She loves praise and that’s the best way to train her. Food also works but she’s very tuned into her person and loves to please. She is incredibly smart and picks up commands and rules quickly, and knows "sit", "down", "come" and "wait". She is very sensitive to people and listens well. She’ll adjust to a new routine in a few weeks and stick to it. Indy has done well with larger dogs, but can be a bit selective and jealous in a home with another female. She would do best with people who have no other dogs, or a male around her size. She has done fine in doggy daycare situations, but doesn't like certain females. Indy also can jump, so a high fence is needed if she has her own yard. She walks pretty well on a leash (work in progress), but can pull and is a collar/harness escape artist, so needs an owner who will keep her secure. Indy can be reactive/protective when people and pets walk past her fence or her property, but loves meeting people face to face. She has a strong cat prey drive so no cats please. Indy loves long walks and would do great in an agility course! She has a little anxiety when left alone, so she should be contained when her humans are out, so she can't get into something that could harm her. Overall, Indy is a wonderful, intelligent, beautiful girl. She would do well with an active person or people who can take her on plenty of walks, hikes or beach outings. She currently weighs 84 lbs. Indy needs a foster or forever home! Please email for an application.
