Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Murray and I am a 2-3 yr old heeler x hound mix. My foster mom describes me as sweet, mellow and a bit of an introvert. I prefer to stay back and observe versus get into the thick of things. Despite the hound in me, I am not at all vocal. In fact, my foster mom has yet to hear me bark. I am very respectful of other dogs, cats and even chickens. I have a medium energy level. I can be a little shy meeting new people but I warm up quickly and then I will lean my body into you for pets. I have not had much training. Leashes are still a bit foreign to me and I'm just learning how to walk on one. But, I am a heeler after all, so I learn quickly and I want to be by your side. My foster mom thinks I have great potential to be an off leash walking/hiking partner. I would prefer a relatively quiet home-- one without small/young children. Older, dog savvy kids would be OK. I am house-broken and well-past my puppy chewing stage, so can be left alone in the home with no problems. I am neutered and up-to-date on my vaccinations.
