Maize is a female, mixed-breed puppy from our Fall litter. (DOB 9-22-21) We believe Maize’s Mom is a Boxer/Staffordshire mix, but we have zero info on Dad. While estimating the adult sizes of a mixed breed puppy can be a challenge, we estimate, based on Maize’s current size, she will be a medium sized dog around 40-50 lbs full grown. Maize is a smart and confident puppy who isn’t shy to introduce herself. She is incredibly smart as well, constantly testing her foster Mom's ability to stay one step ahead. With adorable front paws that look like white socks, Maize is ready to join you on any adventures! She is being fostered in a home with other dogs, both large and small, old and young. Maize has not been around cats yet, but she is very young and we strongly believe that she could live happily with cats if given proper introductions. Her adoption fee includes up to date vaccinations, deworming, microchip, flea/tick preventative, and spay/neuter. Could you use an a-maize-ing companion like Maize? If so, please email us for an application at howlelujah.rescue@gmail.com.

More about this rescue
Howlelujah Rescue is a small, volunteer run, foster based, all breed, non-profit rescue. All our of work is supported through our adoption fees and donations. We can only rescue as many dogs as we can ethically and safely house and support, so we are always looking for responsible and committed volunteers. We believe that the most effective way of supporting our community is to give back at the community level. In addition to animal rescue, we support our community by working to keep pets with the owners that love them; helping provide food, vaccinations, and low cost spay and neuter options to reduce the the number of animals entering our local county run shelter or being dumped on our streets.
