My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you looking for a fun-loving BFF for you & your dog? A pal to go on road trips with, a friend to play tug with, and an all around adventure bestie? If so, we quite possibly have your perfect match!

Meet Wanda! This 5 month old, 19 lb terrier mix with super long legs is a ball of fun and energy. she came to our rescue in April from a shelter up north, which was preceded by a stint on the streets. Looking at her now, you would never guess that she felt hopeless just a few months ago.

Wanda is a sweet, sprightly young girl. She loves other dogs and loves people. She gets along well with all dogs and is picking up social cues from her current pack. She is a curious girl that loves exploring her yard, chasing butterflies and playing with toys. She tackled potty training like a pro and thrives with a schedule.

Wanda is a smart cookie and enjoys obedience training. Her foster parents report that she has already mastered: Sit, stay, up, down, wait, leave it, come and off. She's also working on silly tricks like going through and under legs.

Wanda's favorite past times include doing zoomies, going on adventures, wrestling with other dogs, and snuggling in front of the TV. She would do best in a highly active home and would love nothing more than to have another dog that enjoys romping around as much as she does.

We are volunteer based and will do our best to get back to you within 72 hours. Please do not call as our phone is intended for emergencies only. If we feel that one of our dogs is a good match we will set up a private meet and greet We do not have a physical location where you can come and meet all the dogs at once, so meet and greets may take a little time to coordinate. Our requested adoption donation is $350 and all adopters are required to fill out an adoption agreement.
