My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy is a beautiful 2-year old female Beagle/Dachshund mix who was surrendered by her owner on August 6, 2022.

Daisy has a tan-and-white short smooth coat with brown ticking/freckles on her legs, a long tail, and an adorable Beagle face with expressive brown eyes, a liver/chocolate brown nose, and magnificent extra-large floppy ears.

Her previous owner told us that Daisy was good with children and that she is also good with other animals.

Daisy has been kept indoors and is housebroken.

Daisy was spayed in May 2021. She was given rabies vaccine on April 11, 2022.

Daisy weighs 35 lbs and walks fairly well on a leash.

These photos of Daisy were taken on August 6th when HSOV Volunteer John Tynan spent some time with Daisy and let her 'follow her Beagle nose' through the green grass before posing for glamour pictures. Daisy is a good conversationalist and had a lot to talk about before she headed back to her kennel.

Daisy's previous family has shared this additional information about sweet girl:

"Daisy is the most precious baby girl. She loves to play, cuddle and gives the best kisses. She is still loved very very much but her daddy became very allergic to her, and there became no other option [than to find her another loving home]. Her nose is sprinkled with beautiful freckles. She loves chicken patties and pup cups from dairy queen. Her eyes are killers and can work all kinds of magic on you. We pray she goes to someone who will love her like we do. She also slept with us and will hog the bed. LOL A great snuggler and a sometime snorer. LOL Please take the best care of her."
