My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

INDOOR ONLY HOMES please.

PLEASE consult with me before you purchase rabbit supplies so I can direct you to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials. Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!

Toffee and Taffee were rescued on August 23, 2022 from a Garden Grove location known for frequent rabbit dumping. Their estimated date of birth is June 1, 2022.

Toffee is the bun with the darker "moustache" and Taffee is the bun with the lighter coloring! They almost look like caramel sundaes; they are certainly that sweet!

These girls are super friendly, easy to handle, and perfect to bond with you while they are growing up! They enjoy head rubs, sitting calmly on your lap and of course pellets! They’re a perfect little pair of darling buns!

Toffee and Taffee should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. They can have that as their home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it.

Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit.

Toffee and Taffee can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. Delivery to the greater SoCal region is available.

More about this rescue

Kribs for Kritters primary focus is rescuing domestic rabbits that have been abandoned at parks, schools, golf courses, fitness trails and any other outdoor location. Kribs for Kritters also assists Golden View Farm Rabbit Rescue in their heroic efforts.

All rabbits are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

We are both a rescue and a shelter. We have over 100 rabbits in our care. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, just ask. It is likely we have a bunny to suit your needs. New bunnies are being rescued every week. We don’t always have time/resources to post every bunny that crosses our path.

We have an exceptionally high success rate of bunny bonding on the very first date. So, if you’re looking for a mate for your existing bunny, give us a try.

Our operating costs are at least $1,000 per month so donations are always appreciated. Donations can be made to PayPal.me/kribsforkritters.
