Carmen is an adorable 32 pound blonde 6 month old cutie -
Is she as sweet as her face and eyes appear? Well, yes! She curls up on your lap, she rolls over, looks at you and squints- all those cutie things just to get you to rub her belly. She's the epitome of the term "sweetness". She's still learning the leash, but is excellent at it so far. She and her brothers are crate trained. Carmen is ready to be your latte drinking partner...walking companion.. confidant and much much more!

Here is the story behind Harry, Ned, and Carmen:
CARMEN had been found, and ended up at a rural Louisiana shelter/holding pen. Two days after, the boys were also found. The owners were eventually located and surrendered the babies. They promised to get the mom spayed, but just couldn't handle all of the dogs they currently had. As a result, they just let them outside to roam. (We don't know who daddy was- but mom was a yellow lab). As soon as the Shelter posted these sweet faces needing rescue, NYSRR knew they were destined for a forever home with only the love a NYSRR family could give.

Carmen and the boys are ready for their new families.
There is a possibility (possibility!) of Carmen coming next Saturday, September 10th.
If so, the transport company would be Rescue Road Trips, arriving in Brewster NY, eta 2pm.
