Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Born 7/6/17 Pickles is a female Pug mix. She is a spunky, smiley small bundle of love. She weighs in at 15 pounds. Pickles was one of 15 dogs recently removed from a hoarding situation by our friends at Benton County, WA Canine Shelter. Although reserved at first, Pickles has blossomed into a sweet, social, snuggly girl who loves both people and other dogs. She is confident with other dogs and doesn’t allow them to chase her but is happy to join in with the pack to run around the yard or lay down for a nap. She would benefit from a home with moderate activity and other canine companions of similar size and energy. She is working on leash walking and basic commands and would benefit from a home that will continue to work to develop her skills. She is very treat motivated so training with Pickles is fun. She can also be trusted sleeping on your bed a night and would love to be your foot warmer. Pickles is crate trained (but prefers not), potty trained, well behaved, and trustworthy in the house when alone. She rides well in the car and loves to hang out with her foster family and the pack. She lives with other dogs (both large and small), and two kids, and she gets along with well with them all. Her forever home will need a secure fence to keep her from visiting all the neighbors. Pickles is spayed, chipped, and up to date on her vaccines. She has had several teeth removed due to decay, but it doesn’t seem to have any effect on her ability to eat. Her forever home will require a secure fence with adults or adults and children over 5. Applications for Pickle can be found at www.mikeyschance.com
