My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Norville -Neutered Male. Approximate DOB - 4/6/2022. He is current on all vaccines and have been tested for Feline Aids and Feline Leukemia and are NEGATIVE. Norville is a SH Black. He came to us along with 2 other siblings that are already in a home, from a local Vet Clinic where they were left overnight in a box outside. He is wonderfully cute, sweet, social, playful and busy! He is looking for a loving home and family! He will need time to adjust to a new home from their shelter life. If you would like to meet Norville, please complete a Preadoption application found on our website at

More about this rescue

Love A Stray is an all volunteer, no-kill, animal rescue organization for cats and dogs serving primarily Lorain and Cuyahoga counties in Ohio. Our mission is four-fold:

1. To decrease the pet overpopulation by employing aggressive low-cost spay/neuter programs which includes not only adoptable animals but also spay/neuter assistance programs for families who otherwise would not be able to sterilize their pet. We also alter feral cats through trap/neuter/release (TNR) programs.

2. To rescue homeless animals and, when necessary, provide medical treatment including emergency veterinary care.

3. To nurture rescue animals through innovative behavior rehabilitation, when applicable, and to place them from foster families into permanent homes.

4. To educate the public on the importance of being an advocate for animals emphasizing humane treatment and sterilization.
