Jewel is a sweet, easy going kitty who loves nothing more than a comfy spot to snuggle down for a nap. She has an incredible purr and will turn over onto her back for belly rubs when she's happy. She loves to play with other cats - "chase" is especially fun! She is also good with the respectful golden retriever in her current foster home.

Jewel came from a rural colony along with her 4 kittens when they were approximately 8 weeks old. She was a very patient mom who even mothered the other stray kittens that came into foster care.

Jewel can be shy at first, but has really come out of her shell in the last few months. She will need a family that is willing to be a little bit patient while she learns to feel comfortable in her furever home. She is the gentlest, sweetest girl and will be a fantastic family cat once she's settled in.
