We would like to introduce you to our new leading lady at the shelter, Autumn. The park rangers discovered this lovely lady in the metro parks and brought her to our shelter. As one park ranger said, "he has never seen a sweeter girl", and we often say that these dogs are the sweetest, but they are because they are so grateful for love and attention. Autumn has the prettiest light brindle coat, the softest fur, and her demeanor is so mesmerizing. She is quite affectionate. She can be silly and a bundle full of energy, yet she can also be calm and lazily lay beside you. Autumn loves to chase toys, and she gets super excited about treats. So far, she only knows how to sit, and sometimes her little paws get so excited that it isn’t always the best sit. But, she tries, and with a smile like hers, you can’t help but love her more! Autumn is about 2 years old, and she would be great with a family with children past the toddler age. She walks well on a leash, and a fenced in yard is recommended for this gal and her zoomies! Autumn is ready to enjoy pumpkin season. Now she just needs to find her forever hoomans. Is that with you?
