My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tamara is a beautiful 5-year old female kitty who was picked up at her home and brought to the HSOV on August 26, 2022 along with her best friend Tia who is most likely her sister. Both Tamara and Tia were held for safe-keeping for several weeks but were not reclaimed by their owner.

Tamara has a brown tabby short smooth coat with a patch of white on her chest, white socks on her paws, a long ringed tail, and an adorable face with pale green eyes, a brown velvet nose, and long white whiskers.

Tamara has an affectionate, rather demure, personality. She initially appears to be very shy in her cage but quickly warms up and actually loves attention.

Tamara was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on August 26, 2022. She was also combo tested and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm. Tamara weighed 7.4 lbs that day. She was given booster vaccines on September 21, 2022.

Tamara will be spayed in the near future and will be ready to find a loving home either through adoption or rescue. Naturally we'd love to see her adopted with her housemate Tia.

UPDATE: Tamara was spayed on October 10, 2022 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 7.8 lbs that day.
