My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mabel was EXTREMELY skittish for the first 10 months or so with her fosters, but has finally started to meow quietly when she'd like some attention. She has always been fond of her mama Nimzy, and typically stays in the same room, if not snuggled up with her. She would do well with someone who is very patient, and willing to let her warm up at her own pace. If approached gently, she will let you pet her. She does NOT like to be picked up, and prefers you to be asleep if she's going to snuggle with her human. Mabel will do best in a home with her mama Nimzy.

$100 adoption fee per cat.

Hardest part of rescue is:
- Not being able to save every cat.
- Finding excellent homes for our rescues.

Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Please fill out an application, https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1Mt0ukEQGh9vrIWBgRc9APqaunSribyCoZwTXF7L1geg/edit?ts=62d0688c
or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.

We do not have a shelter. All our rescues are in loving foster homes.

The $100 adoption fee per cat insures that all cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), microchipped, vaccinated for Rabies and FVRCP (feline distemper), dewormed, and have been treated for fleas.
