Buddy is a 5 yr old male. The progress he has made with us in the past year is amazing! He has been going to training and is literally the smartest boy! He is so eager to please his person but does take time to trust new people. He has gotten SO MUCH better with interactions. He really is ready for his forever home! Buddy does needs to be your only pet, and no kids for him.

More about this shelter

The Lewis County Humane Society is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation which owns and operates a no-kill animal shelter on the Pine Grove Rd in Glenfield, NY. That shelter is contracted with the townships in Lewis County to house dogs brought in from the townships by the dog control officers. The shelter also houses homeless cats from the county.
Our shelter relies on the generosity of our supporters because shelter expenses far exceed our revenue. We greatly appreciate all your support which enables us to care for and find new homes for all the wonderful animals at our shelter.
