Their adoption process

Our adoption fee includes the initial rabies vaccination, deworming, the initial distemper combo vaccination (for dogs, this vaccination includes parvo) and having the pet spayed/neutered and a microchip. The fee for dogs is $80 and for cats is $65. There are times that we are running specials for adoptions, if you have any questions feel free to call. When adopting you will have to provide a government issued ID and be able to sign an adoption agreement.

Our shelter is open for visitors M-F 12-5 and Sat 11-2.

Rabies vaccinations are also available during regular business hours for only $10.

Our rabies vaccination clinic is on the second Tuesday of the month from 6-7 pm and is $5 cash only.

Monday-Friday: 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Saturday: 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Sunday: Closed

Iredell County Animal Services works with approved rescue groups to place as many pets as possible into loving homes. We have lots of pets available for adoption.
