Anyone wishing to adopt one of our Goldens must complete an application, phone interview and home visit. We will verify the care of your current or previous pets with your veterinarian, and ensure that any pets in your home have been altered. For more detailed information, please contact the rescue.

We operate through a network of foster homes located in the Myrtle Beach area. All dogs who enter the recue are kept in these homes, not in a shelter facility. If you are interested in meeting any of our dogs, please visit our website to see a listing of events in which we will be participating. Grand Strand Golden Retriever Rescue (GSGRR) is a group of volunteers located in the Myrtle Beach area of South Carolina dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of Golden Retrievers into the best homes
