Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We are excited to introduce sweet Winnie! Winnie the Pooh, Win Dixie, whatever nickname you call her, she will greet you with her unforgettable smile…and maybe a kiss too! If her underbite doesn’t melt your heart, nothing will!
We believe Winnie to be about 5 years young, although she struts around like she is a puppy. Our vet thinks she is a corgi mix who weighs in at 18lbs but could stand to lose a few pounds. We currently have her on a weight management diet so it will be important that her adopter be committed to daily walks, not only to help keep her weight in check, but also because this little one loves to walk and be outside in general. She also loves car rides, is easy to leash up and walks with no pulling. When she first came to us, she was a bit cautious around men, but now that she has settled in she is friendly with everyone and lives to greet people she meets on her walks around town. She seems to be fine with dogs her size but is not crazy about dogs bigger than her. We think she will be fine with cats, but we will have to cat test her if her new home includes one. Ms. Winnie is a butt scratch and a carrot stick away from being your new best friend.
If little Winnie seems like a perfect addition to your family, please reach out to her adoption counselor, Darlene.f@poainc.org. Winnie is eagerly awaiting your application.
