Hello, my name is Macgyver! I’m an 6 year old Chihuahua/Jack Russel mix. Because of my age, I’m set in my ways. They say you can teach an old new tricks, but not this middle aged boy, lol. I love who I am and how I am. I was found as a stray, so unfortunately Macomb County Animal Control does not know my previous history. I was fearful when I first met the MCAC family. Thankfully they gave me time to decompress and now I love them!
I’m happy, friendly, and outgoing once I know you, but I take time to get to know. When I’m in my own home, I prefer the calmness. I love to cuddle on the couch or take a nap next to you. I like making new fur-friends! But, kids at any age are too much for me. I just want a home where it’s me, a fur-sibling, and my mom & dad. I can be a little noisy, so I need a house (not an apartment/condo or mobile home). But when I love someone, I love them whole heartedly! I’m the most devoted loving man/woman’s best friend you will ever meet!
The quiet retired life is what I’m searching for. I get it…no kids may be a deal breaker for some, but for those of you who do not have kids or grandkids that visit often I would be perfect for you! I know that’s a lot to ask for. But hey! When you know what you want you know! They say there’s someone for everyone, right? I just hope my someone finds me soon.
