My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Jethro-- named after Jethro Tull because of my unique vocal sytlings! I am a cattle dog mix puppy with a lot of spunk and a lot to say! I was picked up as a stray by a rural shelter and then transferred to Herding Haven rescue, so not a lot is known about my history. My foster mom describes me as a big, pudgy bundle of fun. I love to play with other dogs so my ideal home would have at least one young doggy sibling for me to play with (or an opportunity to go to doggy day care and make doggy friends). I am very smart and would really benefit from puppy training classes to get me off on the right paw. I have already learned how to sit and walk really nicely on a leash. My house-training is going pretty well and I am fully crate-trained. I am a mouthy puppy, so a home without small/young kids is a must. Older (> 12 yr), dog savvy kids would be OK.
