New years. MLK Day. Groundhogs Day. Valentine’s Day. Presidents’ Day. Holi. Saint Patrick’s Day. Ramadan. Easter. Earth day. Cinco de Mayo. Mother’s Day. Election Day. Memorial Day.
These are just some of the major important days that Trinket has missed out on with her forever family as she waits with her foster family. She’s waiting for the right person to realize that her beautiful amber eyes, her little tiny ears, and her goofy personality all mix together to make the perfect dog for them. She knows her family is out there, but she hopes they find her soon, because she doesn’t want to miss any more moments to make memories!
Trinket is a two year old, 60 pound bulldog mix. She is house and crate trained, and she knows many basic commands. She’s the sweetest girl, and her spurts of zoomies are so silly. Her bunny hops mid run make her foster family laugh every time. Trinket aims to please, and she’s highly treat motivated. She also loves to snuggle right up on or next to her humans. If her humans are busy, she’s content to chew on her bone (or all of her bones, switching between them often, if she can!). She is kid and dog approved, though she needs slow introductions with dogs as she can be a little nervous with all the stimulation. No cats for Trinket though!
Trinket is UTD on vaccines and preventatives, and she’s currently being fostered in Camp Hill, PA. We hope that this is the week that Trinket’s forever family finally finds her!
We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all-volunteer organization, and we are always looking for more help. All are invited to meet our dogs, but only pre-approved adopters with all household humans and dogs present will be able to adopt at the event.
