My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Princesa is a sweet and loving 12 year old Shih Tzu/Mini Poodle mix! She is very friendly with people, though seems to prefer women. She is a medium energy level.
Princesa gets along with other dogs on play dates and dog parks, but would prefer to have her person all to herself when it comes to other dogs in the household. She loves to be on the couch with her person, and to just follow you around. She also loves her walks!
Princesa is house trained, knows how to use a doggy door, walks well on a leash and rides well in the car.
Shes a total sweetheart!

She does have some minor medical issues:
-she has a grade 3 of 6 heart murmur (she is not on any medications at the moment, but its something that needs to have an eye kept on it)
-she had a canerous mass removed 1+ years ago. It was a kind that is local, almost never spreads, and we removed all of it. She has been fine in this regard.
-She gets chronic ear infections and skin infections on her paws
-She had a sensitivity to the tarter on her teeth. She just had a dental cleaning so it has cleared up, but she may need further dental cleanings in the future if the sensitivity comes back as the tarter does.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

There is an application process, and a tax deductible donation fee, which includes all up-to-date vaccinations and the dog's spay or neuter. We may opt to do a homecheck, but will discuss during the adoption finalization.

We also require a one week "trial period" with the dog to make sure that you and the dog get along well. After the one week period, we will either move forward with the adoption if the adopter so chooses, or the potential adopter can return the dog to Pacific Pups Rescue without penalty.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We have a space in Culver City and in Redondo Beach to hold adoption fairs, which we will begin holding shortly. For now, please contact info@pacificpupsrescue.com to find out where you can meet our dogs!
