My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there, I am Bella. You probably have seen me a time or two as you scroll-i have been here since New Years Day without any interest.

Here are a few facts about me:
3 years old
German Shepherd Mix
56 pounds
I live with a toddler and need some redirection to not "mom" her but has no other issues. I do love to have her give me goodnight kisses
I am very protective of my family and my yard. I will bark at the neighbors as they walk by but I am not aggressive. I do need reassurance that people are ok and safe.
I am able to roam the house throughout the day without being in my crate and am not destructive
I go in my crate with no issues
My favorite place to be is wrapped up in a blanket or cuddled in my adult humans lap
I am a no for cats but love dogs of all size
My foster family has taken me on many 3 hour road trips without any issues
I am up to date on all preventatives and vaccines
I am currently in Mechanicsburg, PA

She is fostered in New Holland PA   at is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs.  Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all-volunteer organization, and we are always looking for more help. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption.

See upcoming events below where PA Caring for K9’s will be with some of our adoptable dogs!
