My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Come and meet me at PetSmart in Memphis, Tn. at 5883 Poplar Ave. Saturday February 3rd from 11am till 2pm.
Pup Pup is about 2 years old, weighs 40 pounds, neutered, heartworm negative, microchipped, current on all his vaccines and preventatives. We’re thinking A Husky Mix? Maybe with some Border Collie?
From his foster dad: A high energy about 2 year old, neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative Husky mix that will keep you amused with his comical antics. Your constant companion, he is with you whatever you are doing. Be careful, he will get behind you to sniff anything in your hand. Not good if I am carrying tools or anything else that could hurt him not knowing he is there. Helps you get dressed or undressed. Helps you in the bathroom and is fascinated with the tub drain and running or pouring water. Loves to get a bath himself. Loves a leash but will try to pull you where he wants to go. Loves to go for car rides and is calm during car rides. Chews on pecans and pecan limbs and will bring them into the house. Chews on Rose of Sharon bushes. Plays with small rocks like a cat with a bug. Throws them with his mouth, then swats them with his paws. Sleeps under my chair while I am on computer or watching TV. Follows me to bed and sleeps in the floor on the side I get out of bed so that I wake him when I get up. When it is time to get up, he stands up with his feet on the bed and tries to find a hand or foot or face to nudge me awake. HATES a kennel will try to chew his way out after 15 minutes. Not a problem, I never have to kennel him, he has had full run of the house since he has been here. It helps that I have 2 much larger dogs that have helped him learn the rules and keep him occupied when I am not there. Knows he is allowed to go in or out the back door whenever he wants when I prop it open. Knows he cannot go out the front door without a leash on. Will try to eat the brush when you try to brush out his beautiful coat and tail. He can be very vocal with a variety of barks, yowls, whines, howls, yips and yaps. Outside he howls at sirens getting all the dogs in the neighborhood howling. Will bark at people walking on the sidewalk or loud noises anytime. Has never tried to bite me over food or anything else. Is learning to take snacks from your hand gently but not quite learned to catch. Seems to like the few children he has met but is too big and rowdy for small children. And his tail. He chases it in circles falls down wrestling with it. Funny! Beautifull when he runs, can be out of sight in a second!
Let’s help him find a home.
