Roughly 7/8 years old; estimate because we found him on the side of the road about 5 years ago and are unsure of his actual age. Shepherd mix (unsure of exact breeds). Up to date on shots as well.
Extremely good with kids, he will lay down by them and cuddle all day if he could. Huge couch potato. Ready for a long movie marathon to just relax on the couch with you any day of the week. He is a big love bug and will always be ready to love on you when you need it.
Used to run with my ex for PT so he enjoys going on runs but also enjoys being lazy. He is off leash trained and does a handful of commands with a release word, too. He has a high prey drive so he’s 🚫never been good with cats 🐈 🚫 when let outside , he will pick one spot that gets good sun and nap there for hours.
He is house trained and kennel trained but, the 5 years I’ve had him I’ve never had to put him away in a kennel when I leave. He will just nap the whole time I am out of the house. He doesn’t dig, he doesn’t chew on things, he isn’t destructive at all. He isn’t a hard bone chewer. He prefers medium strength bones. He is good for you if you need to cut his nails he won’t be reactive. He doesn’t have any areas on his body where they are a “no zone” that will make him reactive either.
He really is a good boy and unfortunately with some life changes going on I have no ability to take care of him anymore. I just want to make sure he goes to a good home to live out the rest of his days there. I don’t want to see him be rehomed again. I know life happens, what I’m going through was unexpected, but I really want to find a home for him that is able to let him live out the rest of his days there.
