Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Winter. Winter is an approximately 3 year old female Husky mix that was brought into our facility as an owner surrender. We were told a roommate moved out and left Winter in a home and after not returning for her, she was brought to us. Winter is a sweet girl, with us here at animal control. She has come out of her shell a TON since arriving. She will still need an owner who is willing to work with building her confidence, trust in people, and overall training. Winter seems to be dog selective at this point, and we are not sure about cats. She would probably do ok in a home with children at this time, depending on age and dog experience level. She is a very sweet dog once she warms up to her people. She is VERY ball motivated and would play ball all day if we would let her. We would say NO small animals or cats for this gal due to her breed/prey drive. She does have separation anxiety, and would benefit from being on anti anxiety medications in her new home. Winter's adoption fee is $120 and includes her spay, vaccinations, microchip and negative heartworm test. Follow the instructions below to adopt...
