My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Starr. I love kids, not fond of cats, and I love to play with most other dogs. My favourite game is Tug-a-war with my furry foster sister. I love playing with all kind of toys, chewing on bones, and of course getting treats.

I am known as a “ferocious” lover. What that means is I have a knack for licking you to death because I love them! Since I get so attached to my humans I tend to get pretty sad /anxious when they leave, but I am getting much better. I used to really dislike the kennel, although foster mom thinks I am much better now. It helps that I get a treat whenever I go in the kennel!

Although about 3 years old, I am more of a big puppy. I would love to have a furry sibling to play with all day long! Though I do like to play, I also like to cuddle with my human, doze on the couch next to them, or in my dog bed.
At night, I’d like to sleep cuddled up beside you in your bed, but if there isn’t room, I can be content to sleep in a dog bed on the floor too. Just being near you is my favourite thing in the world. Because I will love you so much, I like lots of attention. If I have a furry sibling and they are getting attention, I will come push my way in to get some of your attention and pets too.
My foster mom says I have the cutest bark and howl that I do sometimes when I want attention too. It makes her smile and laugh and bark back at me. When I hear a siren, I like to howl along with it, and foster mom thinks it is the cutest thing ever.
