Buddy has some of the most striking spotted tabby patterns you’ll ever see! We believe he is just a little more than a year old. He is a very smart boy because he knew exactly what home to show up at earlier this fall after being abandoned or lost outside. His rescuers happily brought him inside and made sure that all his needs were met. Unfortunately their other cat wasn’t happy to have a new sibling so we are helping them find him a new home.
Buddy’s name fits him very well as he definitely wants to be someone’s buddy. He prefers being with people rather than by himself even if it’s just simply to be near them. He loves to greet people when they arrive and will happily run up to you and talk to you with his fun raspy-sounding little meow and you should be prepared for a gentle, friendly “head butt” when he greets you.
He is a playful cat who enjoys little toy mice and anything on a string. Buddy is one of the sweetest boys you’ll meet. He enjoys being petted and he is extremely snuggly and he will happily lay on your lap while you work or relax. He’s been a great work companion to his foster dad so if you work from home, you will have a ready-made helper.
Buddy is actually quite small in size, a little less than 8 pounds currently, which makes him look very cute! Before he found his current rescuer’s home, he had been outside with other cats in the neighborhood and seemed to get along with them just fine so we believe he would do well with another friendly, laid-back cat. He has also interacted with children when they have visited and has done well with them.
If you are looking for a friendly, playful, cuddly cat, then Buddy is the cat you’ve been looking for! You will be greatly rewarded with lots of joy and love guaranteed for many years to come!
