Cricket is a 9 yr old, cream colored Poodle mix who at first s a little shy. He very quickly warms up and wants to snuggle and give bunches of kisses!
At first, Cricket would not go out without his leash on, even in the fenced yard. After walking with him a few times, all I had to do then was hold the leash in the air and he would run out. He walks very nice on a leash but he does not like wet grass in the morning and prefers to potty in the stones or on the wood deck. He did not at first ask to go out and had a few accidents in the house if I was not paying attention. He has gotten much better.
Cricket is a good eater and he shows no signs of food aggression eating in a room with 6 other dogs, but he does not like bigger dogs and will snap at them if they go by him. He does like dogs of similar size and will try to play with them. He is not bothered by cats or horses.
Cricket loves the men in my family and if he's not sitting in foster dad's lap, he's in his own bed or in bed with foster mom on his pillow.
When meeting friends, family and Grandchildren, Cricket did not know who's lap to lay on or who to play with the first 3 weeks he was with us. Now he is a social butterfly!
